He served as Senior Vice President for Excellus BC/BS for many years, overseeing projects involving pharmacy, operations, medical management, claims and a long term care insurance program. He and a medical physician recently founded Health Care Industry Advisors, a consulting group to assist clients in navigating through the complexities of the current health care environment.
Some of his major achievements at Excellus include developing and implementation one of the nations first hospital cost containment programs.
